Calling all aspiring Claras, Sugar Plum Fairies, and Snow Queens! Join us for a special workshop and audition event as we cast principal roles for our 2025 production of The Nutcracker.
💂♂️🎄 Nutcracker Audition Workshop
Date: Saturday, August 23, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Fee: $15 per dancer
Location: Starlight Dance Company
This 2-hour ballet workshop will be led by Miss Amy and will focus on:
✔ Learn and refine the official Nutcracker audition choreography
✔ Focus on clean technique, musicality, and performance quality
✔ Gain valuable tips and experience to feel audition-ready
🐭✨ Principal Role Auditions
Date: Saturday, August 30, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM
Fee: $20 per dancer
(Free for dancers who attend the workshop)
Auditions and workshop are open to dancers ages 10 and up only. These auditions will determine casting for lead and featured roles such as Clara, Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy, Sugar Plum Fairy, and featured divertissements (Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Marzipan, etc.).
Dancers ages 9 and under do not need to audition to perform in The Nutcracker! They will be cast in appropriate roles and can register directly to be part of the performance. Sign up at starlightdancesatx.com or email hello@starlightdancesatx.com

Black leotard, pink tights, ballet slippers (and pointe shoes if applicable), hair in a neat bun, and no jewelry
