Ages 8-11 / 9 AM โ 10 AM
Ages 12+ / 10:30 AM - 12 PM
$15 per dancer
This workshop will be led by Miss Amy and Miss Isabella, and will focus on:
โ Learn and refine the official Nutcracker audition ballet and jazz choreographyโ Work on technique, musicality, and performance qualityโ Receive helpful feedback and audition tipsโ Build confidence and prepare for audition day
The workshop fee includes the dancerโs principal role audition!

๐ฏโโ๏ธ Workshop and Audition Attire
Ballet attire is required: a black leotard, pink tights, ballet slippers, and pointe shoes if applicable. Hair must be secured in a neat ballet bun, and no jewelry should be worn. A short ballet skirt is optional.
Dancers younger than age 8 do not need to audition to participate in The Nutcracker. They will be assigned age-appropriate roles and may register directly for the production.

This 2-hour ballet workshop will be led by Miss Amy and will focus on:
โ Learn and refine the official Nutcracker audition choreography
โ Focus on clean technique, musicality, and performance quality
โ Gain valuable tips and experience to feel audition-ready
๐ญโจ Principal Role Auditions
Date: Saturday, August 30, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM
Fee: $20 per dancer
(Free for dancers who attend the workshop)
Auditions and workshop are open to dancers ages 10 and up only. These auditions will determine casting for lead and featured roles such as Clara, Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy, Sugar Plum Fairy, and featured divertissements (Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Marzipan, etc.).
Dancers ages 9 and under do not need to audition to perform in The Nutcracker! They will be cast in appropriate roles and can register directly to be part of the performance. Sign up at starlightdancesatx.com or email hello@starlightdancesatx.com

Bring Dad to Dance Class
Join us for our first-ever โBring Dad to Dance Classโ in honor of Fatherโs Day! This fun and free event will be held on Monday, June 16th, and gives dancers a chance to share their love of dance with their dad, grandpa, or any other important father figure.
To help us prepare, RSVPs are required by Tuesday, June 11th.
